"There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in
Miseries."

You might say that I'm the last man standing now.
Although you'll try, you'll never find a way to break me!
You might say that I'm sick of being lost in the crowd.
I hear the sirens but they're never gonna take me!

Spread your wings and fly.
Never let dreams die.
Exist in the now.
Fight with both hands for people you love.
Take a chance.
Keep hold of your light.
These paws cover mountains.
These wings part space.
I exist in nothing.

A word of caution if you're writing a RorschachxOC story: many hardcore Watchmen fans will give you grief for it. One of Rorschach's most prominent characteristics is the fact that he dislikes women. I'm not bothered by it if it's done in a believable manner. The best way I've seen the story work had Rorschach showing extreme denial and trying to force the OC away.
Have you been to fanfiction.net? There are many RorschachxOC stories there, good and bad. I'd suggest reading some to avoid potential story traps that would force Rorschach to act out of character, thus bringing the rest of the Watchmen fandom down on your head. I recommend 'Famous Last Words' and "Breath & Skin'.
Good luck!
